Claims Associates is excited to introduce you to another one of our new faces, Ethan Kellett. Ethan is a Multi-Line Adjuster working in our Rapid City office, and has been with Claims Associates for just about a year and a half.
Ethan had already been learning insurance for the previous few years working for independent insurance agencies. That experience has helped him tremendously with handling claims for property and casualty. He has spent considerable time working with our adjusters to gain an understanding of the Multi-Line Adjuster job.
Ethan’s education includes his AA Degree from South Dakota State University in General Studies. Specific to insurance he has obtained certification in the Haag Commercial & Residential Roof Inspector Program, Casualty Adjuster Training at Vale Training Solutions, and drone certification. He has also received his FAA Remote Pilot Certificate. While he was obtaining experience as an independent agent account manager, he took some CSR Development Program courses.
While Ethan was born in Minot, ND, he moved at a young age to Grove City, PA and spent most of his youth there. He and his family moved to Rapid City when he was 17 so they could be closer to his mom’s family who are from Phillip, SD.
After completing his education, Ethan moved to Sioux Falls where he worked for a short time as Member Services Associate for a credit union, and then becoming an insurance agent for an independent agency.
Because of his desire to be closer to family, as well as have easy access to his hobbies, he moved back to Rapid City, and continued work as an independent agent, before hiring on with Claims Associates as a Multi-Line Adjuster. And we are very glad to have him with us.
Ethan enjoys most anything outdoors, especially golf, biking and running. And snowboarding and skiing in the winter.
Ethan and his girlfriend are planning a trip to Europe in the future, to do some touring of Germany.
