Claims Associates has added another professional to our experienced staff to continue to offer our clients the highest quality service.
Craig Matson has joined us as a Casualty General Adjuster and Litigation Specialist. Craig joins us with a wealth of knowledge and experience. Previous to Claims Associates, Craig worked with a major insurance carrier in the area for over 35 years, most of those in management, Litigation Management, and large loss handling, but also supervising files and as a claim representative.
Craig has also been a Legislative Lobbyist/Consultant.
Some of Craig’s education includes receiving his MBA Degree from the University of South Dakota, his BA Degree from Augustana University, his CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter), and AIC (Associate in Claims).
Craig’s knowledge and experience is also broad with relationships. Through the years he has worked with many individuals in government positions and has helped author the SD Unfair Claims Practices Act and Peer Review Board Statute for Chiropractors, just to name a few.
With Craig’s background we believe he will be a huge asset to our clients with the litigation management, expert testimony and overseeing mediations.
Craig is a SD native, and loves to hunt and fish, relaxes with woodworking, and enjoys staying in shape with racquetball. Craig is married and has 3 grown sons.
