Kimberly Rausch, workers’ compensation adjuster, attended the IA Workers’ Compensation Symposium in Des Moines, this past summer. This is an annual conference, sponsored by the Iowa Workers’ Compensation Advisory Committee, Inc. In attendance were the Director of Iowa Workforce Development, defense and plaintiff counsel, medical practitioners, case managers and adjusters.
Included in the conference was Agency Case Law Update with Randy Schueller; Appellate Case Law Update with Troy Howell; Changes to WC Laws + Alternative Medical Care with Janese Valentine, Deputy Erica Fitch and Matt Grotnes; a Workshop Session on Ethics; and Becky Curtis was the National Speaker – Take Courage Counseling.
